Impressive Improvements for Any Vehicle

Many drivers want to make quick, positive impressions with their vehicles.  It doesn’t matter whether the need for that positive impression comes from the desire to look good in front of someone you like, or because you intend to sell your car shortly and want it to provide you with as much resale value as possible.  What matters is that, when pursuing upgrades meant to give off positive vibes, you’ll want to focus on areas that give the greatest results for the least possible effort.  Below, we’ll cover several potential upgrades that are uniquely designed to impress just about anyone who sees them.

HID Headlights
Lighting is so often overlooked on cars that people frequently forget how powerful lighting can be in making first impressions.  Headlights often don’t stand out because the headlight arrays on so many vehicles are outfitted with halogen bulbs, which produce fair light coverage but don’t do anything all that special.  HID lights, on the other hand, outperform halogens in almost every way.  HIDs can be customized by color, can produce light that is 3x brighter than that produced by halogens, and can also last up to ten times longer than a set of halogen bulbs.  With such major gains coming from a fairly easy installation process, you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck (and effort) by installing HIDs in your car, truck, or SUV.

Rear Spoilers
This is an upgrade that you’ll want to be very careful in how you approach installing it.  Rear spoilers can make for cars that look sleeker, sportier, and more exotic, but when improperly installed, or put on the wrong vehicle type, they can look downright ridiculous.  Use a rear spoiler if you own a passenger car or sports car, but you won’t want to use one on a truck or SUV.  And just make sure, if you do decide to install one, that it blends in seamlessly with the design of the car as-is, so that it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb.

New Rims
When all else fails, you can always just change out the rims on your car.  A set of four shiny new rims can dramatically raise the profile of a car that looks just a bit outdated, and the shimmering effect when driving in daylight with certain types of rims just adds that sense of class to a vehicle.  For a quick fix and easily impressive upgrade, updated rims are the way to go.
